Location: Tampa Area | Starting Date: 02/06/2022 | Full-time

Description:

An Office Assistant is responsible for keeping the office supplied and organized. This involves lots of small duties, like typing and taking notes during meetings, but their overall responsibilities are essential. Office Assistant is responsible for things like:

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE MANAGEMENT DUTIES

  • Data entry when needed for managers/ owner
  • Research and gather information for managers/ owner
  • File documents when needed for managers/ owner
  • Assist in preparing information/ agendas for manager and/or staff meetings.
  • Take minutes/notes during manager and/or staff meetings.
  • Responsible for managing clerical and office activities
  • Maintain, order and stock office supplies
  • Ensures that office equipment and copy machine is kept in good working order
  • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary

NEW PROJECT DUTIES

  • Work directly with owner on new projects (licensing, applications)
  • Work with owner on new business ventures.
  • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary

Required Qualifications:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Review company operating systems (policies, routines, etc) for improvements in efficiency.
  • Assist is short and long term planning
  • Assist in evaluating companies progress toward goals
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work
  • Must be able to establish good working relationships with management, owner and staff
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel and Microsoft office suites
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to operate office equipment
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
  • Must be able to work evenings or weekends when occasionally required
  • Must be able to perform duties in a professional office setting
